Tunku Abdul Rahman Park is located just 3 kilometers from the coastal city of Kota Kinabalu. Tunku Abdul Rahman Park was established in 1974, just off shore of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. It covers an area of roughly 49 square kilometers of which two-thirds are sea, and the rest is coral reefs and five islands which are, Gaya, Sapi, Manukan, Mamutik, and Sulug Islands. The park is named after the first Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tunku Abdul Rahman. The Park is administered by Sabah Parks. Water temperatures are are around 30degrees with 15 meters visibility and 24degrees with 5 meters visibility from January to March. From jessleton point jetty, the boat ride is approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
