Fun Diving

Kota Kinabalu is blessed with a short 15 minutes' boat ride out to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park - a national gazetted in 1974. All dive sites are within a 3 - 10 minutes boat journey in the marine park, which means you actually spend most of your time diving rather than sitting in a boat! Our custom designed scuba diving boats are built in with GPS and depth finders, radio, emergency oxygen, medic first aid kits with each scuba diving staff is trained in Medic First Aid.

Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park varies in the different species to find, but our Professional Divemasters are there to find you your scuba diving bucket list which could include various hard and soft corals, macro life for the keen photographer, the seasonal whale shark, sting rays and the marine park thrives on the macro life as there is a number of nudibranchs, eels, frog fish, scorpion fish, stone fish and crocodile fish, with plenty of shrimps and sometime sea turtles to be found.

Fun Diving trips in Kota Kinabalu offers calm seas, crystal clear waters with more than 15 dive sites there is a lot to discover in the reefs off Kota Kinabalu.

The diving at KK offers a relaxed day diving with no currents and sloping reefs ranging from 5 – 18 meters deep. Bottom time is for 45 minutes for each dive. Divers Borneo Fun Diving programme is for 3 boat dives (2 morning dives and 1 dive after lunch). A typical schedule for a fun diving trip (certified diver) with Diverse Borneo as follows:
