The Instructor Development Course (IDC) is the cornerstone of PADI’s professional-level training. In addition to becoming an Open Water Scuba Instructor, you will want to earn some specialty instructor ratings so that you can offer a variety of training to your student divers. Having five specialty instructor ratings is a prerequisite for the Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) rating.
