Mantanani Island
Mantanani Islands is a group of three isolated islands located Northwest of Kota Belud, approximately one hour 30 minutes drive from the state capital of Sabah, Kota Kinabalu. These islands are about 45 minutes boat ride from the mainland. The islands boasts of crystal clear blue waters filled with a myriad of marine life and white sandy beaches, fringed by coconut pal trees making it an excellent destination for snorkelling, scuba diving or island hopping.
The Borneo Islands package puts you in the centre of one of the richest marine habitats in the world. More than 3,000 species of fish and hundreds of coral species have been classified in this ecosystem. Everything has been spotted in Borneo from a Pygmy Seahorse to a Whale Shark. If you would like to have encounters with the sea turtle, small reef sharks, Barracuda's, trevally, the Dugong (sea cow or in fresh water known as the Manatee), and sea snakes then this trip is ideal for you. You will have a PADI Professional scuba diver accompany along your trip to identify the unknown.
