Padi Rescue Diver
The PADI Rescue Diver Course is best described as “Challenging” and “rewarding”. Building upon what you’ve already learned in the PADI open water diver course and PADI advanced open water diver course. The PADI Rescue diver course expands on what you already know about how to prevent problems, and how to manage them if they occur. The fun part about this course is rising to challenges and mastering them. Most divers find this course both demanding and rewarding, and at the end, say it’s the best course they’ve ever taken. During this course you will learn about, self rescue, recognizing and managing stress in other divers, emergency management and equipment, rescuing panicked divers, and rescuing unresponsive divers.

This course is about caring for others, and helps not only for scuba diving, but is very useful for outside the diving industry. Although many divers enroll, so that they can take the PADI Rescue Diver course, this course gives you the confidence to respond to medical emergencies. During this course you will learn about the primary and secondary care of a patients life line. BLS (Basic Life Support) CPR and rescue breathing at the layperson level, AED (automated external defibrillator), preventing and caring for shock, spinal injury management, use of barriers to reduce disease transmission risk, basic first aid and first aid kit considerations.
