The PADI open water course package enables you to, dive to a depth no greater than 18 meters independently with a certified buddy that has the equivalent or higher level certification while applying the knowledge and skills that you learned during the PADI Diving course. The PADI Advanced Open Water Course (AOW) in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah with Diverse Borneo, a PADI 5 Star instructor development centre in the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park allows PADI Open Water Diver Course students (PADI certified or equivalent from another diving organization) to enroll and get certified, explore reefs to depths of 30 meters under the supervision of a fully qualified and Professional PADI Diving instructor trained by our in-house PADI Course Director from England who holds the highest level of a scuba diving instructor. The PADI Advanced Diver course in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah consists of five scuba dives, two of the dives must be Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation which can count towards PADI dive courses in the specific PADI specialty. Diverse Borneo offers PADI Dive courses in Kota Kinabalu in which PADI Scuba Diver Course is the basic entry level diver course which can be completed in two days. The PADI Scuba Diver Qualification is earned by completing some of the PADI Open Water Diver Course which can take three days to complete. We run this course in the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park every day with our team of PADI diving instructors.
The PADI Scuba diver course is a pre-entry level certification and qualifies you to dive to a maximum of 12 meters diving under the supervision of a PADI Professional while applying the knowledge and skills that you learned during the course. The PADI Master Scuba Diver course is the highest level of an non professional diver and reaching this mark places you on Diverse Borneo’s Wall of Fame. We teach all PADI Specialty Diver Courses where you must have at least five specialties and the most common is the PADI Enhanced Air Diver (Nitrox) course, Deep Diver Course and Wreck Diver course, you must also have 50 logged dives where you could fun dive in the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park to build up your dive logs and you must also be a certified PADI Open Water Diver, PADI Advanced Diver, PADI Rescue Diver and be trained in EFR – Medic First Aid. Reaching the PADI Master Scuba Diver level labels you at having great knowledge underwater having acquired significant training and experience in a variety of dive environments and of studying the PADI System of diver education. PADI Bubblemaker program is designed specifically for children. Diverse Borneo, a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development centre teaches children scuba diving in the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and we provide safe scuba diving programs for children aged from eight years old.
We request that parents follow our PADI diving instructors whilst teaching your children how to scuba dive in Kota Kinabalu by either taking Diverse Borneo‘s snorkeling program or going for scuba diving. The PADI Bubblemaker program is designed to introduce children to scuba diving in a pool or confined open water in less than two metres of water.
At Diverse Borneo we teach the children in confined open water at one of the white sandy beaches in crystal blue waters in TARP. This scuba diving program is a great way to celebrate a birthday because it’s fun, easy and we ensure dive safety with our Professional scuba diving instructors. With youngsters in mind, the maximum depth is only 2 metres/ 6 feet for 8 – 9 year olds. The PADI Adventure Diver course with Diverse Borneo in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah in the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park can be taught in just one day consisting of three adventure dives. This PADI dive course is great for people that have limited time or not confident diving to 30 metres in the PADI Advanced Diver course. You can join the PADI Adventure Diver Course in KK after you have completed the PADI Open Water Diver course.
